Objective: We Need More Samples.
When facing a supply crisis that the group could not withstand, Andrew volunteered to be exiled from the colony. This allowed the group to carry on, as they now had enough supplies. This apparently caused Andrew to feel that his life had lost all meaning, so he went to the hospital where Kevin was trying to gather supplies for the group, and attracted as many zombies as he could. This caused Kevin to get killed by zombies, which lowered the groups morale to a point where they could no longer carry on. Sadly, this was right after the group finally collected enough dead zombie bodies to potentially find a cure..
