This one wasn't even close. Almost immediately upon entering the door lock, Goriel and Claudio went down for the count. By the time we fought our way to the Dark Catacomb, Deino was also among the lost. It seemed as if every Genestealer spawned in the same place, and despite our best efforts, Noctis and Gideon fell soon thereafter, leaving Lorenzo to fight alone. By some miracle, he managed to elude a swarm of four, and there was at least some hope that he would survive just a little longer, but a single Genestealer leapt from the darkness, and the end was upon us.

So, things started out rather okay. I sped through the Void Lock and Dark Catacombs, losing only two members of my team. Then, terrified of what we saw in the Hibernation Cluster, we made a mad run for the door. On the way out, we stumbled upon one of our lost comrades, and he joined back up with us, making us five strong as we entered the Genestealer Lair. Two Blood Lords, and a bunch of genestealers seemed a tall order, until we quickly vanquished all foes, save for one last Blood Lord. However, that is when everything fell apart, as it started calling for reinforcements and our team quickly was slaughtered.

Things started off poorly. Lorenzo was killed almost before we knew what was even happening. We regrouped, and things were going okay. That is, until we moved into the dark catacombs. Goriel and Deino were the next to go, leaving Omnio to lead the last few warriors. Somehow, sadly, he was closest to all four spawning points, so a mad frenzy of violence was in store. Zael went down almost immediately, but the last two members of the team advanced to the Wrath of Baal Chamber. It was almost inspiring to watch Claudio fight of a swarm of three aliens... until he was blindsided by a single enemy from behind. Omnio was left alone, and nobody expected any good would come of it.
